We are presenting an extraordinary range of social activities alongside the 2016 conference programme!
We are hosting the first ever RCVS Knowledge ‘Sceptical Vet’. Set in a traditional Scottish pub, this fun and interactive evening event is the first of its kind for us. The evening will include lively debates, delicious food, and is a fantastic opportunity for you to socialise and network outside of the formality of the conference.
How it works:
- The speaker gives a 5 minute presentation on their chosen topic
- The debate is opened to the crowd
- After 15 minutes the MC stops the debate
- A new speaker begins!
There is limit on tickets so book early to avoid disappointment! If you want to apply to present at ‘Sceptical Vet’ please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a brief description of your chosen topic – please note there will be no PowerPoint available.
Be sure to join us at the Evidence Awards! Will you be one of the winners? The Evidence Awards will take place on the 2nd of December in The Hub; a Grade A listed building located at the top of Edinburgh’s famous Royal Mile. The award ceremony will include a drinks reception, a three course meal (including half a bottle of wine per person!) and finally, the evening will end with a Ceilidh – and don’t worry if you don’t know the moves, a caller will be on hand letting everyone know the steps!
