We have a range of bursaries available to Veterinary Evidence Today, the 2016 EBVM Network conference. These bursaries are targeted at veterinary students, veterinary surgeons or veterinary nurses returning to practice, veterinary nurses, information specialists and veterinary surgeons in their first 5 years of practice.

Student Bursary

The Student Bursary will be available to any veterinary student currently studying a veterinary based undergraduate degree. This bursary will provide successful applicants with an access-all-areas ticket to Veterinary Evidence Today 2016 and up to £250 towards travel and subsistence. A condition of acceptance is that successful applicants will submit a fit-for-publication Knowledge Summary to Veterinary Evidence by Thursday 1st September 2016.

Veterinary Nursing Bursary

The Veterinary Nursing Bursary will be available to any veterinary nurse currently in practice. This bursary will provide successful applicants with an access-all-areas ticket to Veterinary Evidence Today 2016 and up to £250 towards travel and subsistence. A condition of acceptance is that successful applicants will submit a fit-for-publication Knowledge Summary to Veterinary Evidenceby Thursday 1st September 2016.

Information Specialist Bursary

The Information Specialist Bursary will be available to any information specialist with an interest in EBVM. This bursary will provide successful applicants with an access-all-areas ticket to Veterinary Evidence Today 2016 and up to £250 towards travel and subsistence.

A condition of acceptance is that successful applicants will assist the Library in performing allocated literature searches during the period 1st July – 1st September 2016.

Early-Career Bursary

The Early-Career Bursary will be available to any veterinary surgeon in their first 5 years of practice. This bursary will provide successful applicants with a half-price access-all-areas ticket to Veterinary Evidence Today 2016 and up to £125 towards travel and subsistence. A condition of acceptance is that successful applicants will submit a fit-for-publication Knowledge Summary to Veterinary Evidence by Thursday 1st September 2016.

Returners Bursary

The Returners bursary will be available to any veterinary surgeon or veterinary nurse returning to practice after a minimum of 5 years not practicing. This bursary will provide successful applicants with a 1 day ticket to Veterinary Evidence Today 2016 and up to £125 towards travel and subsistence.

Please note, if you are awarded a bursary after purchasing a ticket then we will refund you the cost of the ticket as part of the bursary. If you purchase a ticket and then do not receive a bursary the normal refund rules apply, please see the terms and conditions for full details.
